Continuing on from the 240kWp grid-connect system we installed on Gym 3 in Samoa in early 2014, we were then awarded, by the NZ Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the contract to build the 2.2MWp Solar Farm at the Apia Racecourse and the 143.5kWp solar system at the Salelologa Power Station on Savaii. Once the ground works were complete at the Racecourse Solar Farm, we relocated our Samoan team to Salelologa and they laid the concrete pads and set up the array frames - getting ready for our solar team to install the system. In late 2013, we were delighted to win an international tender to design, supply and install a 240kWp grid-connected solar power system for the NZ Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT) in Samoa

We were the EPC provider for Vector for the Shed 10 solar power system. At 60.75kWp, this is currently the largest roof mounted solar power system in New Zealand. We designed, supplied and installed a 10.2kWp grid connect solar power system on the roof of the New Zealand High Commission which was commissioned on the 27th of June 2013.  We commenced this project in September 2012 and it concluded on 18th January 2013 with the grand opening.

Working in conjunction with Transnet, we carried out the installation and commissioning of this 10kWp grid connect solar system. This solar farm is the first in Tonga. It is among the largest solar farms in the Pacific. Raoul Island is New Zealand's northern most territory. It is an extremely remote location with supply visits only twice annually.

In October 2011, we were contacted by the University of the South Pacific - Majuro Campus to ask us to design, supply and install a grid connect solar power system. Working with Vector, we won the competitive tender for the solar power systems on Great Barrier Island, at Okiwi Station and Port Fitzroy. In early 2012, we extended the power system on Little Barrier Island for the Department of Conservation.

We are proud that this 16.1kWp grid connect solar power system won the SEANZ Best Solar System Prize for 2011. We designed, supplied and installed this SMA Sunny Backup system on Fonterra's "show farm" to show the possibilities of solar power on a dairy shed. This SMA Solar Backup System is the completion of a solar power project in Wanaka. It provides emergency power to the site in case of power outages.

Installed in Greenhithe in Auckland, it is one of the largest domestic grid connect solar power systems in New Zealand. We are very proud of the Vector Hubbards solar system. Its nominal 20.48kWp power output makes it New Zealand's largest thin film solar installation. This 10.5kWP grid connect solar system is Part 1 of a solar backup system in Wanaka.

The concept of this solar system is for it to produce sufficient power throughout the year to offset the owners usage over the three months per annum that they will spend at the house. Our clients live entirely off grid in their new home. Their system is made up of 16 x Sungrid 175W modules on a tilted frame - to maximise solar production, especially in the winter months. Completed in June 2009, the 57kWp grid connect system is one of the largest in the Pacific.

Moore Wilson is committed to sustainability and energy efficiency. Their 10.5kWP grid connect solar system is the largest in Wellington. We worked in conjunction with Sanyo Australia to design, supply and install a large grid connect solar system for the Tindall Foundation in Takapuna. It generates 9.84kW in full sun. This is the second project we completed for Auckland International Airport. The total solar installed by us at Auckland International Airport is in excess of 50kWp.

At 29.75kW, the grid connect solar system which was installed on the Arrivals Expansion at Auckland International Airport in March 2008, is New Zealand's largest. Installed in December 2007, the Lockwood Showhome in Rotorua comprises of 8 x 167watt panels and a Beasley Close Coupled Solar Hot Water System. We designed, supplied and installed this solar power and solar hot water system for the new Waitakere City Civil Defence building.

Little Barrier has a 3.5kW solar array feeding into a 5048 Sunny Island battery inverter which create the "grid" for the island, using Absolyte batteries for power storage. For this project we designed and supplied the components and incorporated them into an existing smaller solar system. TiriTiri has a 7kW solar array feeding into 2x5kW Sunny Island battery inverters which create the "grid" for the island, using Absolyte batteries for power storage.

These systems are made up of a 2kW solar array connected to the grid using SMA Sunny Boy grid connect inverters. Systems installed at: Westlake Girls High School, Greenhithe,Tirimoana and Silverdale Primaries and Northcote and Pakuranga College. This system was designed for MainPower to showcase grid interactive solar technology and to support and promote greater investment in renewable power generation. The official opening of the Library and Recreation Centre Complex and of the PV system itself, was done by Pete Hodgson, Minister for Energy for New Zealand.
